A VISIT TO A MUSEUM

     Our school takes us to 2 educational trips every year. आमची शाळा आम्हाला दरवर्षी दोन शैक्षणिक सहलीसाठी घेऊन जाते. This year, our school visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sagrahalaya in Fort. यावर्षी आमची शाळेची भेट फोर्ट येथील छत्रपती शिवाजी वास्तू संग्रहालयाला होती. It was an enlightening experience. तो एक उद्बोधक अनुभव होता. We went there by the school bus. आम्ही शाळेच्या बसने तिथे गेलो. We reached there at 10 a.m. सकाळी १० वाजता आम्ही तिथे पोहोचलो. We entered the museum in a disciplined manner and had to be quite silent. आम्ही शिस्तबद्ध पद्धतीने संग्रहालयात प्रवेश केला आणि अगदी शांत रहायचे होते. We were divided into 4 groups, and each group had a teacher and 1 peon. आम्ही चार गटात विभागलो होतो आणि प्रत्येक गटात एक शिक्षक आणि एक शिपाई होता. It took us almost 5 hours to go through the entire museum but the visit was well worth the time. संपूर्ण संग्रहालयात फिरण्यासाठी आम्हाला जवळपास पाच तास लागले पण त्यावेळची ही भेट सार्थ ठरली.

     There were different sections on Maratha History, Mughal History, Artifacts from Mohenjodaro and Harappa Civilization, reminders of the British Rule in India, and a section on the Prehistoric Ages. मराठा इतिहास, मुघल इतिहास, मोहेंजोदारो आणि हडप्पा संस्कृतीतील कलाकृती, भारतातील ब्रिटीश राजवटीची स्मरणपत्रे आणि प्रागैतिहासिक युगांवरील एक विभाग असे वेगवेगळे विभाग होते. There were relics from Egypt and China giving us an insight into the early civilizations. इजिप्त आणि चीनमधील अवशेष आम्हाला सुरुवातीच्या सभ्यतेची माहिती देतात. There were coins from various ages and countries. तेथे विविध काळातील आणि देशांतील नाणी होती. The place was very clean and well-kept, and everything was very systematically arranged. ती जागा अतिशय स्वच्छ आणि व्यवस्थित होती आणि सर्व काही अतिशय पद्धतशीरपणे मांडलेले होते.

     After the tour, we got into our buses to return home. We were physically tired but our minds were filled with plenty of information about the past. टूर संपल्यानंतर आम्ही घरी जाण्यासाठी बसमध्ये बसलो. आम्ही शारीरिकदृष्ट्या थकलो होतो पण आमचे मन भूतकाळातील भरपूर माहितीने भरले होते.
